Here's how the Writer2Author Publishing Solution works:
Step one
You send Michael your manuscript, by email attachment in Word or as a hard copy, and he will read it FOR NO CHARGE, to see if he's the right person to work for you. In rare cases, if Michael doesn't connect with the writing, you owe nothing.
Step two
Michael will write for you a comment letter - a manual on writing specifically geared toward YOUR BOOK. This letter, which typically runs 30 to 50 pages, depending on the length of your book, will take you through the major issues that agents and publishers would find cause for rejection, and will show you how to resolve those concerns. The letter will then take you page by page through your book, showing you exactly what needs to be done -and why. With Michael's guidance, you'll find it incredibly easy to rewrite your book to the highest professional standards.
Step three
You rewrite your book, or you hire Michael to do the rewriting for you. Michael is extremely accomplished in writing and rewriting both fiction and nonfiction for his many clients. Once you've got the letter in hand, you'll decide whether you want to do the rewriting or whether you'd prefer that Michael do it.
Step four
If you've done the rewriting yourself, you can send the new draft to Michael, and he will read it carefully and write you a second (usually shorter) comment letter. This letter will address any concerns that remain from the first draft and will also contain ideas about taking your manuscript to the next level.
Step five
After you've done the second new draft, Michael will read it again and offer any comments necessary for a 'polish'...and then it's time to self-publish or sell your book.
Step six
Michael will draft for you a powerful cover letter that will present you and your manuscript in the most professional light to agents and publishers. Michael doesn't serve as your literary agent. Instead, he will help guide you to the resources that will help you find the type of agents you'll need. Michael will also guide you in terms of putting together the most powerful and professional package for agents and publishers. Most writers don't know what to send or where to send it; Michael will answer all of your questions in this area.
Alternatively, should you decide to self-publish, Michael has the knowledge and industry connections to get you going.
Step seven
As you begin to hear from agents, Michael will check them out for you to see if they are credible. (A lot of so-called literary agents are anything but credible, and most writers need someone who can make sure that the agents who contact them are legitimate.) Michael will help you determine which responses you get are legitimate...and which aren't.
